Universal Design for Learning (in the online environment)

This workshop is about Universal Design for Learning (UDL), particularly in the online environment. UDL is a framework for course design and implementation that recognizes, appeals to, and is accessible to a diversity of learners. In the first workshop, July 2020, we reviewed the principles of UDL, considering the challenges that students might encounter in online courses, and then got into breakout groups to discuss how to implement UDL for assessment, course materials, and engagement.

Facilitated by Tanya Noel, Tamara Kelly, and Jennifer Peter.
