WELCOME TO oCUBE!

What is oCUBE?

We are a community of practice advancing the quality of undergraduate biology education in higher education (universities and colleges). We began as a small group all involved in biology education at Ontario universities, but have grown to include members from across Canada, parts of the U.S., and even Europe!  All are welcome!

Our mission:

The Open Consortium of Undergraduate Biology Educators/ Consortium ouvert des éducateurs de biologie postsecondaire  (oCUBE) is a community of practice dedicated to sharing and promoting best practices for supporting educators and students in post-secondary biology education. Our focus prioritizes evidence-based pedagogy, professional development, curricular innovation, and mentorship. To support these goals, we promote collaboration among members and like-minded organizations, host annual UnConferences, and offer opportunities for advancing scholarship.
